ABOUT Sandy’s In-PERSON REIKI 1 CLASS

Reiki is a healing technique that involves placing hands on (or over) a person to transfer energy and promote relaxation, stress reduction, and harmony.

You’ll receive your Reiki 1 Certification after attending one class. With this, you can perform Reiki on yourself, friends, family, pets, or set up a private practice and earn an average of $50 per session.

Classes are taught by Sandy Hamelmann, whose Reiki lineage is only six degrees from Reiki Father Usui Mikao. As Sandy’s student, your lineage will be an impressive seven degrees from Usui.

These four-hour classes are offered in person at the Lotus Centre, 52 Prescott Street, St. John’s, NL. Dates and times for classes TBA.

TIME	ACTIVITY	DETAILS
15 min.	Introductions	Share your name, pronouns, and what you hope to gain from today’s class.
45 min.	Reiki Explanation	What is Reiki; Reiki history; principles; philosophy; your Reiki lineage; and ethics. During this time, Sandy will also answer questions about Reiki.
15 min.	Guided Meditation	Sandy will guide participants on a relaxing journey to the soul.
15 min.	Reiki Demo	Sandy will demonstrate how to perform Reiki on a client.
15 min.	Break	During this 15-minute break, Sandy will attune the first student in a separate room.
90 min.	Reiki Practice & Attunements	While Sandy continues to attune each student, the last student to be attuned will perform a 10-minute Reiki session on a classmate as their fellow students observe and offer guidance (if requested).
15 min.	Self Reiki & Homework	Sandy will demonstrate Self Reiki followed by a practice session. Homework: students will perform Self Reiki daily for the next 21 days.
45 min.	Graduation & Group Discussion	Students will recieve their Reiki 1 Certificates and share their observations, sensations, and experiences at today’s class.
